О музыканте

Джейкоб Кауфман (Jacob "Jake" Kaufman) - американский композитор музыки для видеоигр, также известен под псевдонимом "virt". Карьеру коммерческого сочинения саундтреков он начал в 2000-м году с портом игры "Q*bert" на Game Boy Color. Следующие несколько лет продолжал писать музыку для игр на Game Boy Color и Game Boy Advance.

В 2002-м Джейкоб открыл сайт VGMix, где стали появляться ремиксы на саундтреки из игр. Сайт был популярным и даже конкурировал с OCReMix, но по каким-то причинам уже не активен.

К 2005-му году становится популярным внештатным композитором. С тех пор он участвовал во многих именитых проектах, например, Contra 4, Duck Tales Remastered, TMNT и другие.
